Where it all began
I had my first French lesson when I was 11 and it turned out to be the start of a long-standing fascination for languages. I nurtured this interest throughout my studies, earning a Bachelor’s in French and Japanese, followed by postgraduate qualifications: first in teaching English as a foreign language, and later in translation, at the Chartered Institute of Linguists.
After moving to France in 1996, I initially taught business and technical English in French and international companies. Working alongside professionals from all walks of life – from factory workers to CEOs – gave me a unique perspective on the corporate world, its challenges and its demands.
However, I’d always been naturally drawn to translation. After gaining the necessary experience and qualifications, I went freelance full-time in 2000. Since then, I have brought my expertise to every project, crafting impactful and authentic texts carefully designed to resonate with their target audience.
Words are the raw material in my translation studio, where I ensure that every word reflects your image. Beyond translation, I have a passion for photography, which further sharpens my attention to detail. Whether through a lens or on the page, I focus on the elements that bring your vision to life.
